Are you ready to cheat on your regular chili dogs with our Questified Chili Dogs? These flavor-packed dogs will revolutionize your summer cookouts and leave your taste buds singing the Star-Spangled Banner. Picture juicy, grilled sausages nestled in low-carb buns, smothered with hearty turkey chili, and crowned with crunchy, spicy Quest Tortilla Chips. It’s a culinary masterpiece that will set off fireworks in your mouth. Make sure to have a sparkler handy because these dogs are truly lit.

Let’s dive into the full recipe:

NUTRITIONAL INFO

CHILI DOGS

Yields: 12 servings | Serving Size: 1/2 chili dog

Calories: 230 | Protein: 19g | Fat: 14g | Net Carb: 4g

Total Carb: 11g | Sugar: 1g

Ingredients

CHILI DOGS

For the chili:

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lbs ground turkey
  • ½ cup canned tomatoes, diced
  • ⅓ cup tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • ½ cup low sodium beef broth
  • ½ tbsp chili powder
  • ½ tsp of each: cumin, garlic powder, onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method

  1. Make the chili by adding the olive oil to a pan over medium heat.
  2. Cook the ground turkey until browned and cooked through.
  3. Drain off the excess liquid. Add in the remaining ingredients and simmer for 15 minutes.
  4. Assemble the chili dogs by adding a grilled hotdog to a bun, topping it with about ¼ cup of hot chili and a sprinkle of cheese followed by crushed Quest Tortilla Chips.
