If you’re looking for a delicious and easy summer treat, this grilled peaches recipe is all you need. The best part? You can serve them “naked” without any toppings (just don’t grill naked, that’s a different story)!

My love affair with peaches began when I lived in Athens, Georgia. Georgia is known for its peaches, and I couldn’t resist stopping at roadside stands to indulge in buckets of these sweet fruits. I must have eaten so many peaches during my time in Georgia that they probably lost money when I finally moved away.
One famous restaurant that served a naked peach as a dessert is Chez Panisse in Berkeley, California. Some peaches are so naturally perfect and sweet that they require no added flavors to be truly exceptional.
Grilling peaches takes their perfection to a whole new level. This summer, I’ve been experimenting with grilling healthy foods. If you want to move beyond the usual hamburgers and hot dogs, check out my posts on how to cook vegetables on the grill and how to grill watermelon.
Now is the time to get your hands on some fresh peaches. Grab them, and instead of devouring them right away, consider grilling them for a delightful twist.
Before grilling, make sure your grill is clean from any previous cooking. Heat it on high for about 10 minutes, then scrub it with a ball of aluminum foil using tongs. Once your peaches hit the grill, your family will be eagerly waiting for those delicious grilled treats.
When the peaches are done, they burst with flavor and have a pudding-like texture. Serve them with whipped cream or enjoy them as is.
Sometimes, I use grilled peaches as a side dish for savory meals, and they work wonderfully. You can also refrigerate them and enjoy them with yogurt for breakfast (if they last that long).
I’ve found flats of peaches at Trader Joe’s and Costco, and I always grab them without hesitation. If you can’t eat them all at once, store them in the fridge to slow down the ripening process.
