Welcome to the world of delicious zucchini treats! If you’ve got an abundance of zucchinis, I’ve got just the recipe for you – Chocolate Chip Zucchini Bread. This recipe is a perfect way to use up those 3 medium zucchinis that always seem to appear in excess during the summer months. Plus, this bread freezes well, so you can enjoy it for weeks to come.

Adding zucchini to baked goods is not only a great way to utilize this versatile veggie but also adds moisture without the need for extra butter or oil. Zucchini works its magic in this recipe, giving the bread a delightful texture. However, a touch of oil and sugar is essential to ensure the bread is flavorful and not rubbery.
And of course, what’s a zucchini bread without chocolate chips? I’ve included my favorite artisan chocolate chips to take this treat to the next level of deliciousness.

While this zucchini bread with chocolate chips may lean more towards a dessert item, if you’re looking for lighter baked goods, be sure to check out my zucchini breakfast muffins and healthy banana blueberry oatmeal muffins.
To make grating zucchini a breeze, I highly recommend using a Cuisinart with a grater wheel. This handy kitchen tool saves time and effort, making the grating process quick and efficient.

When it comes to baking this delicious bread, be sure to use two loaf pans of size 8-1/2 x 4-1/2 x 2-1/2. However, feel free to use any pans you have on hand, keeping in mind that variations in size and material can affect baking times. Check out this guide to loaf pans to help you navigate the options.
Fill your loaf pans about 2/3 full to allow room for the bread to rise while baking and monitor the baking time carefully to achieve the perfect texture.
