These bars are a fantastic way to make use of any apples you have laying around, especially after a visit to your favorite apple orchard. I find myself drawn to the orchard every fall, sampling all the different apple varieties until I discover a new favorite. The fresh, juicy apples add a delightful sweetness to these chewy granola-like bars.
Using parchment paper makes it a breeze to lift these bars out of the pan, so you can enjoy them with ease. Plus, it saves you from extra scrubbing in the kitchen – a win-win! While these apple oatmeal bars aren’t necessarily crunchy, their chewy texture and fruity flavor make them an irresistible treat this season.
